Chubbs' Dock

The state boat launch located on the shore of southern Lake Champlain offers prime wildlife viewing as well as scenic views of the lake and shoreline. Wading birds such as herons, bitterns and rails, can often be seen from the beach, however, the marsh is best explored by canoe or kayak. Common sightings include Great Blue heron, American bittern, Least bittern, Kingfisher, Bald eagle and Osprey. Rails are also present. Managed by New York State Department of Conservation (DEC).
