Grassland Breeding Birds "Peak Preview 2"

Nesting activity reaches its peak now!  Join us for a return trip to the 64 acres and surrounding area to celebrate the abundance of breeding grassland songbirds! Likely sightings include Eastern meadowlarks, Bobolinks, Savannah sparrows, Grasshopper sparrows, Northern harriers, American kestrels, Red-tailed hawks and dozens more; Upland sandpiper and Sedge wren possible. We’ll visit the nearby NYS DEC Wildlife Management Area (WMA) if time permits. Trip Leader: Laurie LaFond
